From the introduction: “In the early summer of 2016, the third edition of the Narrative, Media and Cognition colloquium took place at the Noble Amphitheater of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. Over the course of two days, the event brought together dozens of presentations distributed across thematic panels, proposing a comprehensive intersection of fields that, in various ways, engage with the problem of narrativity. (…) The richness and diversity of the themes that occupied the two days of the colloquium prompted the organization of the book now presented. The essays gathered here respond to an invitation extended to the speakers and constitute an essential selection of the content shared across the colloquium’s various panels.”
